Plumas Eureka Fire Department was formed in the early 80's with the interest in providing fire protection for it's residents. In about 1994, Plumas Eureka Fire trained its staff in Emergency Medical Services (EMS). With a trained crew, Plumas Eureka Fire began helping people with medical emergencies. Today, Plumas Eureka Fire & Rescue continues with its commitment to quick, professional service of all emergencies, big or small.
