Requirements: To be a volunteer firefighter you will be required to become certified in California State Volunteer Firefighter I, and Emergency Medical Services First Responder, along with other courses.
We ask that you attend the annual Quincy Fire Academy, open to all Plumas County

The time spent as a Fire Corps member will vary, and is very flexible.
