Here are a few pictures showing some of miniatures I have been working on. I am just
getting started, but hope to have a full scene to put on soon. I have been recycling found objects
such as popsicle sticks, bottle caps (for planters), etc. I also made out my own pages of plant
leaves, printed them on typing paper then flipped the page and changed it some for the back
side using Photoshop. Then turned the page of printed leaves over and printed the back side.
Then I cut them out and glued each leaf to wire. After that was dry I used my fingernail
and pressed along the veins of the leaf. Then I painted them with clear fingernail polish. I
had to go over some of the veins of the leaves after this process to make them look more real.
After everything was all dry, I then put them into a planter...some were bottle caps...some were
made with bread dough clay. I hope you enjoy the pictures.

I got side tracked from the 1" miniatures and started doing some 1/144 scale miniatures. What a challenge, but lots of fun. Here are some pictures of some of the items I am making to put into the scenes. Tiny bonsai trees (the tops are freeform crochet) and tiny tea pots (they are still just a little to big for the scene I am working on though).
