I cut out one of the little bumps from the plastic case that came around one of my printer ink cartridges. Then
I folded a piece of cardboard in half and used a black ink pen (Sharpie) and marked enough of the middle so when I glued
on the plastic piece it would show through the hole to look like smoke. I cut a hole in the front part of the plastic bump and
in the top with a tiny punch (to put the piece of plastic for the chimney) through. Finish by using tiny sicssors to trim so the front
looks the way the picture above looks and enough on the top so that the little round piece will fit into the opening. I glued in
the round piece for the chimney and let dry and then glue this piece to the cardboard so that the black is showing through the
front part of the fireplace. Clamp this all together and let dry. Now trim all the excess away from the sides, back and front so it
looks like a fireplace. Then I mixed white paint and tacky glue together and used tiny pieces of tissue paper, putting this on
with a paint brush and tapping into place. The glue helps to make everything stay together. Once it is dry glue it into place in
your roombox.
